The core promise

All tests run locally in your browser. Nothing you test is recorded, stored, or uploaded. When you test your microphone, the audio is processed by your own browser and discarded; the 5-second playback clip exists only in your device's memory and disappears when you leave the page. Keystrokes, mouse input, and screen tests likewise never leave your machine. This site has no servers that could receive them.

Device permissions

Some tests ask your browser for device access (the mic test requests microphone permission). That permission is between you and your browser: this site only receives the local signal while the test runs, and you can revoke access at any time through the browser's site settings.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless measurement tool. It counts page views and referrers without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without tracking you across sites. No personal data is collected, and there is nothing to opt out of because nothing identifies you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage.

Advertising

There is currently no advertising on this site. If ads are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated first, and any required consent mechanism will be added at the same time.
